I have tried to find some history and relevant information on this great mining operation, however, I could not find any. These pictures were compiled on January 1, 2006 and are of the upper mines. Many of the materials and items found here are undisturbed. Please if you decide to hike up to view this awesome operation, please do not remove any items. The pictures are a chronological journey up the mountain starting at the lower mines. Although no trails exist I hiked up the burro pathways to my ultimate destination... the top.
